Alpha v0.3.1 Released
This one's mostly fixing bugs and adding more content -- new cards, items and memories. Characters now have their own unique memories, which have a chance to be drawn at character-specific memory rewards. I thought of these like skill tree nodes in an RPG.

Bug Fixes
- Fixed knockback preview when target unit is Stable or Unstable.
- Fixed card upgrade probability calculations not resetting on run end.
- Fixed counting of number of cards purged on run end.
- Fixed lingering cauldron card column when a unit has already retreated.
- Fixed path choices slightly biasing towards Mighty-specific ones.
- Fixed card draft rarity being slightly lower than intended.
- Fixed typo in message indicating when boss will appear.
- Fixed typo in Tumbled Stone description.
- Fixed refill/refresh memory potency increasing number of cards affected instead of charges regained/cooldown skipped.
- Fixed edge case where card description text would resize repeatedly.
Visuals
- Changed lighting during certain choices.
- Made character-specific memory drafts less visually confusing.
- Increased contrast for green text highlighting changes on upgrade.
- Applied green text on card draft screen for duplicate actions that will upgrade your existing action.
Quality of Life
- The run-end screen now shows how many memories each character gained.
- Tutorials are slightly less overwhelming in simultaneous number.
Cards
- Butterfly:
- Added Defiance, an action which deals damage scaling with your missing HP and your target's present HP.
- Added Rebirth, a gambit which resets cooldowns and charges for all cards in hand.
- Seagull:
- Added Eureka, a gambit which grants Focus scaling with how many Memories you have.
- Added Thesis, a gambit which applies Block scaling with how many Memories you have.
- Cricket:
- Added Introspection, an action which steals a number of cards scaling with how many Memories you have.
- Added Oaken Palm, an exhaust gambit which permanently inflicts more knockback every time it's played.
- Crow:
- Added Brimstone, a gambit which converts all statuses into Burn in a radius (for all units).
- Added Incantation, a gambit which upgrades all Ephemeral cards in your deck.
- Cloak of Feathers now costs 1 AP rather than 0.
Items
- Universal items are now more likely to drop instead of element-specific items.
- Most items now stack up to 5, rather than 3 or 1.
- Wood: Added Shard of Insight, which draws a single-use Copy card.
- Shard of Flexibility is now rare.
- Golden Sapling no longer retroactively applies potency gain per play, so you don't have to guess which card was played more.
- Water: Added Purified Water, which increases the potency of your starting Memory.
- Earth: Added Fallow Soil, which drafts a random rare character-specific Memory by adding Destroy to an Action.
- Metal: Added Scale Ash, which increases a character's max HP by adding Destroy to an Action.
- Roborant now increases max HP by 15 rather than 10.
- Fire: Added Cosmic Candle, which gives you upgrade items by adding Destroy to an Action.
- Universal:
- Added Mote of Self-Reflection, which increases the potency of a random Memory.
- Added Wise Counsel, which drafts a random common character-specific Memory.
- Added Internal Alchemy, which drafts a random rare character-specific Memory at the cost of max HP.
- Added Personal Truth, which drafts a random very rare character-specific Memory at the cost of more max HP.
- Added Remembered Link, which draws a single-use card that creates bridges over all impassable terrain within 10 tiles of the selected unit.
- Added Simplified Narrative, which draws a single-use card that destroys all walls within 10 tiles of the selected unit.
- Cauldron:
- Tenacity now increases max HP by 10 rather than 5.
- Obstinacy now reduces max HP by 5 rather than 10.
Memories
- Memory rewards now appear more often for a character with fewer memories.
- Each character now has a number of unique Memories, which can appear in character-specific rewards.
- Butterfly:
- Exhalation heals 5 HP on battle end.
- Stubborn Grit has a 1 in 3 chance to generate a copy of Pressure, Momentum or Balance when attacked.
- Effortless Grace grants 3 Focus if you endure the enemy turn without losing HP.
- Seagull:
- Hardened Light grants 5 Block for every 8 cards drawn.
- Bird's Eye grants 1 Critical every 2 cards played that ignore line of sight.
- Softened Sight has a 1 in 2 chance to grant 1 Flow when drawing a Bane.
- Cricket:
- Synesthesia grants 1 Block on turn end for every Copied card in your deck.
- Adept Craft grants 3 Resist for every 3 Copy cards you play.
- Sly Craftiness grants 1 Dodge for every 3 push/pull cards you play.
- Crow:
- Descending Flame has a 1 in 3 chance to draw a card when playing a Spell.
- Destroying Spark has a 1 in 5 chance to upgrade each Ephemeral card drawn.
- Still Mind refills a charge if you end your turn with no units adjacent.
