Alpha v0.2.6 Released


Finally, tutorials! I'll be taking a pause on regular updates for a little bit to implement the next column of the game (persistent equipment). See you in v0.3!

Bug Fixes

- Fixed issue where long card text had an incorrect size on first viewing.
- Fixed locked intents not updating correctly when enemy was stunned.

Visuals

- Added more VFX.
  - Arcane impact
  - Charge-up
  - Star gathering effect
  - Post-boss healing
- Decreases to the Exposed status no longer have overhead messages.

Gameplay

- Added path choice for healing.

Quality of Life

- Started tutorialization system.
  - Added tutorial for camera and turn controls.
  - Added tutorial for selection and examine controls.
  - Added tutorial for Actions vs. Gambits.
  - Added tutorial for Stars.
  - Added tutorial for items.
  - Tutorials can be reset on the pause menu.

Enemies

- Added more biome-specific bosses.
  - Fire: Added Eternal Pyre.
  - Earth: Added Clay Devourer.
- Added more "act 2" enemies.
  - Fire: Added Sparker.
  - Earth: Added Stonewarden.
- Fixed Fencerfish card giving a stack of Blinded that was immediately removed.

Cards

- Crow:
  - Copied versions of cycle cards now add cards to discard, rather than to draw pile.
  - Arcane Nail now inflicts 4 Weakened and Bound rather than 2.
