Alpha v0.1.6 Released

...Pretend I didn't say last week that the next update would be 0.2. This week's changes felt too significant to hold off until then -- players now show an incoming damage summary, making turns much easier to sight-read, and debuff warnings have been visually deprioritized so it's easier to see when damage is coming in.

I'll likely continue to make tweaks to the UX of the game since the presentation of information is critical in tactics, but the bones of the game are solidifying.

Changelog

v0.1.5 -> v0.1.6

Bug Fixes

- Fixed certain enemies not switching aggro when attacked.
- Hover-over highlight links between units are now shown properly for AOE attacks.
- Fixed Hiwalker's diagonal beam aiming.
- Fixed error when pressing ESC on main menu.

Gameplay

- All DoTs now trigger before enemies act, giving them greater interrupt power. DoTs on player characters still trigger at the end of your turn.
- Diagonal knockback is no longer interrupted by pits that aren't directly in the way.
- Blinded now decreases with each hit rather than each card played.
- Made it less likely for all card rewards to be for the same character.
- Made Actions appear more often in card rewards.

Visuals

- Player characters now show a summary of incoming damage.
- Enemy intent damage numbers now take order of attacking into account.
- Change AOE indicator sprites to reduce visual noise and better distinguish attack vs. debuff.
- Enemy action intent line is now white for debuffs, so red is saved for attack intents.
- Enemies spending their whole turn moving will still display aggressive intent icons, to prevent surprises when adjusting position.
- Enemy multi-hit attacks are now displayed as e.g. "6+6" rather than e.g. "12(2)", which looked like it was going to do 24 damage.
- Enemies that are attacking + blocking or attacking + buffing will now just display the attack icon, for simplicity.
- Removed player field-of-movement preview outlines to reduce visual noise.
- Various fonts have been changed.

Quality of Life

- Camera rotation no longer has a little hitch at the end.
- Reversed default functionality of Q and E. Makes more sense for rotating the world.
- WASD camera movement was too fast; slowed it down a bit.
- Rally stacks now apply their full heal at the end of battle instead of disappearing.  No need to wait out the end of a fight.
- Added confirmation on purging a card.

Enemies

- Made enemies less tanky in general, but not to the point where you can defeat them before they do anything.
- Aggressive enemies now aim for the nearest player character by default, only locking onto a player when attacked.
- Stable and Unstable no longer decrease on turn end.
- Cacophonies are now Unstable 1 rather than Unstable 2.
- Hiwalker's Zero In now applies Burn.
