Layer Slayer

Layer Slayer is a strategic autobattler in which players must descend through the layers of nautical hell.

Each battle consists of three rounds. At the start of each round, players alternate choosing a card from their opponent's hand to ban. Then, players will play their own cards on any unit-- their own or their enemies. Cards mask previous cards played, which means that old effects can be changed, and items can be entirely replaced.

Controls:
- Mouse for navigation and selection
- Q / E or scroll wheel to rotate cards

Layer Slayer was made in 2 days for Global Game Jam 2026: Mask.
There are many known issues such as the lack of tutorialization and a proper ending, but we're pretty proud of finishing the core gameplay in such a short amount of time!
